The fishing on A-7 was good! The stream is a little "ribbon" right now. There were plenty of fish though. The biggest was only about 8". We saw very few fish larger than that. We caught fish on hoppers, parachute Adams, foam ants, foam beetles, and a lime trude. They were on the Adams from start to finish. We pretty much fished non-stop from 10:00 to 4:00PM. The weather was perfect - about 67 F with occasional light wind.
I hope we get some snow this winter! |

| Started fishing about 7:30 AM. Clear skies. Water levels were good and a little murky from the previous days rain storms. Fish started biting on the 3rd cast and it was pretty steady until 1:00 PM when I got blown off the water by a massive rain/hail storm. Used a Stimulatior with a BH Prince the whole time. Most of the fish took the Prince. Caught about twenty fish ranging from 3" to 8 inches with a lot more strikes. A few strikes on the Stimulator were from bigger fish but I didn't hook them. I had fished this property twice before, parking at the downstream parking lot and this time I tried the upstream parking lot. The upstream section is full of cows in the stream and a lot of willows. Not very easy to fish. The road is also very rough with some deep holes and 4 wheel drive is a necessity. I walked a long ways today to the downstream section and I would recommend parking in the downstream lot and fishing from there. This property is a hoot and I have never been disappointed with the tremendous number of fish it holds. |

| Without question this is my favorite RMAC stretch: plenty of water, lots of fish, stunning scenery. I joined my brother Jeff for a much-needed "personal day." The water was a bit low, especially for this time of year, but it was clear and cold and higher than it had been the week before, thanks to some nice high country rain. The Tarryall browns struck early and often - from the minute we hit the river at 8, til we ran out of gas at a tad after 4. The infamous S Park winds stayed away, and the forecasted rain waited until the drive home to punish us. We both had great luck with Royal Wulffs and a variety of hoppers, and Jeff even tried his luck with a mouse pattern, to no avail (2 years ago I'd caught a lovely 15" brown with a half-eaten mouse still in his throat). The usual 6-10 inchers, but plenty of those in the 11-14 range as well. |

Even with the low flows, a half day on A-7 turned out to be too short. Starting at 8 a.m., my son reacted to over 30 strikes, and brought 17 smaller browns to hand, on the same ever more haggard #16 Royal Wulff before noon. Finally, the Wolff was done, retired and tucked away. He tied on a #12 grasshopper imitation with an ocher belly. As it drifted downstream, in the tail out of a riffle, riding a very persistent current and hugging the overhung bank, some monster from the deep snatched it off the end of his line and left with a wave of his tail. On goes a new fly, another snatch, four times, same bank, same current, but different flies--monster after monster. Maybe there was a yellow flash, and soft underside of a brown. It was hard to tell. But, nevertheless time was up, the half day was complete, other responsibilities beckoned and we walked away from further action. The clouds were pillow soft, white, not dripping, no thunder, no lightening, all held aloft above the ebb and flow of a gentle breeze—a most perfect day in South Park unfolded all around us. Total, 28 little browns to hand and many strikes missed. Four monsters laying in wait under the banks deserve a return trip—maybe after the flows are higher. |

Early start (7:30) per Jimmy at the club re: low water and concern of afternoon water temps. 4 Pronghorns on the road going in after the gate. No wind! in the morning. Tied on a small stimi at the car just to keep the line in place, walked downstream a ways, and tossed it at the first decent looking water. Missed the first 9 strikes. (not enough coffee on the trip or too much?). Finally started to hook up after moving to a long (14 ft) leader, casting from way back, and setting up on some really subtle sips. Fish ate Charlies Caddis, small sallies, small stimis, para bwo's, and the best fly of the day was a purple "triple-double" (ala Gordon Theret). Better than half of the mid 40's fish came on that fly. most fish 5-7" with a few pushing 9" and a few as small as 3". Chased off with lightning around 12:15. Water was 60 at 7:30 and 65 at 11:30. |

| Fised for 3 hours, from 8:00 until 11:00 on the lower section. Having fished this section at around 13cfs once, I wanted to see what 7.6 cfs looks like. It looks skinny, very skinny. However, the fish were willing as always. The bugs were hatching steadily with caddis; small yellow sallies; grey duns; and some small stone flies. There were fish feeding on top in almost every hole. The fish were all around 7 to 10", for the most part. One fish that was right at 13" was caught. The flies used on this day were foam beetles; and a H&L variant. They were eaten with equal enthusiasm. If the water holds up at this level for the summer, it should be all right. I wouldn't want to see what happens if it drops below 5cfs. |

| Brought a friend who'd never fly-fished before... great property for beginners. The lower section is fairly wide open and has dozens of bends and pools that hold fish. Although they are small, they are aggressive and will actively strike a variety of dry flies. We had strikes on stimulators (#14 - orange & yellow) and humpys (#14 - red & green) as well as several fish that took bead head nymphs of the usual varieties (copper johns, prince nymphs, and pheasant tails). The novice landed close to 10 fish on his first day and I was able to land another dozen or so when I wasn't helping. We were chased home by heavy winds about 3:00 p.m. but had a great time. |

| Fished A-7 with two other friends in a day reminiscent of winter fishing. Temperature mainly in the mid-30's with a rough, 40 mph South Park blow. Intermittent snow and hail to keep it interesting. We all caught a few small browns but even the fish seemed to be hunkered down. Flow was pretty low especially for the middle of May and especially on the downstream boundary side but potential signs of things to come later this summer. No consistent takes on any nymph pattern as long as it had a bead head. Streamer produced next to nothing. |

| A very good day. Really, really great fishing. Caught a lot of fish, close to 100--about a fish every 2 minutes or 25 an hour. In the morning fished the lower section and did the upper section in the later afternoon. Best flies were a beadhead Western Coachman on top and a beadhead Prince on the bottom. Felt like anything with peacock or white calf tail would work well. Another good top fly was a hair-winged Rio Grande King in s16. I would suggest that if the water comes up a bit tie on a floating ant pattern. The ground is covered with them. South Park was totally unusual this day with NO WIND. I would suggest if you have wind a really good pattern would be an Olive Woolly Bugge. There are tons of little fish that the larger browns would going after. |

| I fished A-7 today from 1200-1530 hours. A great day to be outdoors. The aspens are at almost full bloom. Clear skies, temp 70 degrees, water was clear, CFS at 8, SW wind at 10-15 mph. I fished the lower section only today. Fished upstream about 1 1/2 miles from the lower parking lot area. No rises noted during the period. Landed 10 fish (8"-11") on a #16 Steeves Firefly (Beetle pattern). Rose another 8-10 fish during the period. I did try other flies, mostly BH PT nymphs, but the fish preferred the Beetle. Most of the fish were holding near the banks. A good day! |

| A spectacular day on A-7, one of my favorite RMAC leases. It was a beautiful South Park day - a little wind early, but warm with a few clouds - no howling winds or rain! I started at the lower boundary and fished virtually the entire stretch, except for those dang willowy sections where all I do is lose flies. I fished all day with a good-sized hopper or PMX and I saw action with nearly every toss. I had a nice 2-hour stretch from noon til 2 where the browns ate everything I threw. Lots of little rascals, but many 12-14 inchers too. It was hard to quit. |

| A quiet day today at A-7. The weather was beautiful with "breezy" South Park winds at 10-15 mph. Air temp was 63 degrees. I fished from 1100-1500 hours, predominately on the "lower" section of the creek. I met two other RMAC members at the lower parking lot, great guys, we chatted and planned our strategy. Landed 5 small fish on the #14 Steeves Firefly. Rose another 6-8 fish during the period. The water conditions were good with seasonably low flows & clear. I didn't observe any surface activity, but wonder if the "spawn" may have a bearing on the fishing. Nevertheless, an enjoyable day to be on the creek. |

| I fished from 12:30pm until 4:00pm on the lower section. The water is in prime shape so far as clarity and flow conditions are concerned. The fishing was fantastic, and they ate foam beetle patterns aggressively in each and every run. I was using about a size 14, and then I went to a fat Albert looking thing that was around a #8 to keep the little pups off my fly. The bigger bug brought bigger fish. There were some bugs coming off - caddis; an occasional drake; little baetis; and the occasional baetis that looked like a slate grey dun. The fish would take anything natural that did not get off the water fast enough, i.e there were rising fish in many of the runs/holes. The weather was ideal, as it was around 65 F and partly cloudy. This is a beautiful spot, and it is my favorite piece of water within the club's selections. There are a ton of beautiful wild brown trout, and it is such a healthy creek. |

| I fished the upper Tarryall today fom 1200-1530 hours. This was my first trip to this property. Weather was partly sunny w/light winds, highs around 75 degrees.. Initally, I noted a few rises in one of the nearby runs. Hooked three fished in four casts w/a couple of more aggressive rises. I only used a #14 Olive Amy's Ant. A great pattern. Fished down for about a 1/2 mile before the thunderheads appeared. Landed 8 fish with about 6-8 lost. I met the departing 2 RMAC anglers returning from the lower section. They reported an outstandig day with over 60 fish landed. The lghtining and heavy rain started around 1600. A good day, with beautiful sceneryI |

When they say the second gate on the lower entrance is tight they’re not kidding. I wasn’t sure I’d get it reset but with some grunting and groaning I got it latched. I fished the property from 8:30 – 1:00. I used a small brown hopper pattern as the top file and a copper Copper John with rubber legs as the dropper. Some fish took the dropper but most of them went for the hopper. Unfortunately most of the fish were so small they couldn’t really get their teeth into the hopper. That didn’t keep them from trying and they attacked the hopper with all their might. I caught a dozen or so fish on the hopper. They ranged from 8-10 inches. I did land one fish, on the hopper, which was about 14 inches long. He seemed out of place and took the hopper under the cut bank. I thought it was a snag but when the snag started to pull back on the rod and head further under the cut bank I knew I had something special. I did catch two more fish on the hopper that were maybe 12 inches long. Overall it was a very nice day on the creek. The fish were not big but they were all very feisty. |

This was my first visit to one of the Club properties. Very nice section of small water. Tons of little Browns eager to jump on a dry- dropper rig. Grab your #3 weight tie on a #10/12 Amy's Ant with a #16/18 BHPT or Prince and hang on. Make sure you bring plenty of bug spray as the mosquitos are huge. |

| My kids( Jakob & Jordan) and I had tons of fun. The fish were very receptive to any fly we threw. There were hatches of drakes, p.m.d.s, b.w.o.s, two types of caddis and of coarse the hoppers. We all caught fish on our first cast, great place to bring kids or beginners. All the fish were browns in the 12'' to 15'' range. Make sure to park at the sign at the top of the hill, although it is hard to see. Some of the mud pits on the road can be deep so bring a four wheel drive vehicle. |

| Great day on the Tarryall. Fished from 10:30 to 3. Water was still a bit high and only slightly off color. Water was moving fast. Fish were rising wherever the water was slow. Hatches all over the place. Caught 20 browns. Most in the 8 to 10 range. A few in the 11-12 inch range. Fish took size 14 stimulators, size 16 caddis and beetles. Beadhead pheasant tails and San Juan worms worked best as droppers. No luck throwing a mayfly pattern-despite the plentiful hatches. A beautiful day on the water. Lots of wildlife. I was visited by a coyote, some pronghorns and hundreds of butterflies. Well worth the trip. |

Fishing was slow due to the high water but my son still managed to catch a 12" brown on a San Juan Worm he tied himself ... he is six. Beautiful ranch and it was our first visit ... we will go back when the flows are down and the hopper-dropper thing is going! It ought to be good around the end of the month this year. (40 cfs?) |

| Water was running high, had to be careful near banks with undercuts giving way. The pasture land around the creek is flooded out making the hike to the creek wet and tricky. Soft water, where we could find it, fished well. Lots of 8 to 12 inch Browns, greatest success was coming on Hopper, Ants and lime green copper johns. We saw a lot of hatches, but not many risers. Thunderstorm rolled in the afternoon and fishing picked up after showers pushed through. |

Day started out great, about 55 and no wind. I parked at the lower entry and fished my way upstream. Water flow was about perfect and the water was gin clear. I started with a yellow stimulator and changed to elk hair caddis with little action. I went to a royal wolf size 12 and action picked up, primarily catching fish in any pocket water. Mainly browns in the 8-10 range but I did land a couple in the 13 inch range. I landed around 25 by noon, and got chased out by a huge T-Storm that seemed to pop up from nowhere. It rained hard for over an hour and the creek rose and turned muddy. Day was over at that point as more storms were moving in. I only made it to the fence step in the middle of the property. Wished I could have fished all day. Still one of the clubs best properties, great water, tons of fish and great views and close to Denver. |

| Fished uppermost section of A-7 on a bright, windy Father's Day afternoon. Water was high for this stream--close to 50 cfs--and moving swiftly. Difficult conditions with very fast drifts and difficult to get flies down and close to banks without snags. Water needs to come down by at least a third to really improve fishing. Caught four small but pretty browns in the 6-10" range using a black stonefly as the point fly and a beadhead CJ as the dropper--three of four fish on the CJ. Tried dry-dropper, but fish were hunkered down and never saw a riser all day. I recommend fishing the more open sections downstream until the water comes down. |

| I fished for about 3.5 hours between noon and 3:30. The wind was blowing extremely hard (gusts that had to be 25 to 30 MPH quite often) and the weather was mixed with clouds and sun and the temp. was around 44 degrees. I caught a number of fish on a black wooly bugger and also picked up a few on a pheasant tail. There were still a number of fish that were spawning. There were a few that did not survive post-spawn. It is a brutal thing for sure. Many of the fish on the redds had some visible signs of battle scars. The water was pretty low but the fish were willing whenever your fly made it into the sweet spot of the hole. This is undoubtedly one of the club's best properties in my opinion. |

I also shared the stream with about 200 head of curious and noisy cattle. I fished with an orange stimulator early but switched to a size 16 BWO once the bugs got active and stayed with that the whole day. I Caught fish from 2 inches to 15 ( got 3 that size). All the big fish were in the upper portion past the fence step. In total I caught 53 fish, no foolin. One of the best days I have ever had. What a great property |

Tons of bends, pools and undercut banks for fish to hold. We had the best luck with elk hair caddis and Yellow and green stimulators. All the fish were holding in the slower flowing pocket water. Caught about 15 between us and missed twice that many. Largest was 13 or so inches, and all were browns. The upper stretch held bigger fish but required some serious bushwacking. Had to leave at 2 due to heavy rain and lightning but all in all was a good day. This is a real pretty and isolated spot. | My brother and I fished the creek for about 4.5 hours (1:00-5:30) and the fishing was quite good. We caught a large number of fish and the fish were all caught on dry flies of various sorts, especially #16 parachute Adams patterns. The creek is low and clear right now, and some stealth is necessary for sure. All fish were anywhere from around 5" to 10". We spooked fish that were larger and saw rainbows that were larger than that as well. This was a great afternoon, and while the weather was rotten in Denver, the weather around the A-7 area that we fished was mostly cloudy and close to 60 degrees for the better part of the afternoon. The wind was brutal, as forecasted, with gusts to 30 mph. However, the wind just made you have to concentrate harder and that isn't exactly hard to take when you have a flyrod in your hand and are surrounded by one of Colorado's most beautiful valleys. |

| I fished the new section of A-7 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The creek and beaver ponds were fishing well. All I needed was a small tan hopper or a size 12 or 14 stimulator. I used a size 20 fbpt as a dropper most of the time, but the dropper didn't take many fish and wasn't worth all the underwater snags. Almost all the strikes came on top. This is tight, technical fishing. I had my 8' 3-wt, but wish i had brought my 6.5' rod. I landed 6 browns, 4"-10", and whiffed on an equal number. Several of the ones I missed were much larger. One went about 14" and another was larger than that. The big one took a mouse in one of the beaver ponds, which I tied on after it got dark at 7:30. It struck right in front of the bank I was standing on when I was about to pull up and cast again. I would love to spend a few hours here after dark hunting some of the bigger browns in the beaver ponds, but I didn't have a headlamp and needed to get back to Denver. |

| I fished the brand new upper section to start, and the lease that we have had for years from 11:30AM until 1:00PM. The upper section has a large amount of obstacles to overcome. There are a lot of willows, and the bushwhacking activity was moderately difficult at times. I am going to say that I landed around 10 or 12 fish in about 1 hour and 15 minutes of fishing. I missed around 6 or 8 more. I did not cover the whole upper section - not even close. I will go back there when I have more time. I used a couple of different caddis patterns. I then fished the lower stretch and it was dynamite. I caught a number of fish that were the larger variety for this stretch - around 10 to 12". I was using a foam ant, a humpy, and a foam caddis. I did not use a hopper, but there were a ton of them around the lower river. There is also a dead cow next the river near the lower boundary. It was just a little bit nasty! |

| I fished A-7 the morning of August 29 with two friends, and had a stellar day! We had high sun and a temperature right around 70 degrees, truly a bluebird day in South Park. This creek or crick as we call water of this size back home, is absolutely chock full of willing brown trout who hammer dry flies from dawn till dusk. We all started with hopper dropper rigs in the morning, and the only dropper they had much interest in was a size 20 Rainbow warrior. These fish were literally coming out of the water after our hopperswell, so much for the droppers! We fished this section until lunch and then headed up to the brand new A-7 section directly upstream. We were greeted by a very friendly border collie who accompanied us for the next 3 hours. She was about as close to a fishing dog as I have ever seen! She had excellent stream etiquette, (not getting into the water or trying to fetch the fish we were reeling in), and except for graciously accepting a gentle scratch behind the ears once in a while, pretty much just stayed out of our way. This new section of stream is the quintessential water for the small stream fly fisher. It has many bends, undercut banks, shelves, and riffles & runs to keep you busy most of the day. There are also some small beaver ponds that are truly a challenge. This portion of the stream is also full of willing brownies who inhale hoppers and small dryflies. I had good luck with a hopper and a small mahogany dun extended body rig. The fish seemed to like both flies about the same. This is a great stretch for 1-3 wt 7 foot rods because there is some streamside vegetation that makes some casts a challenging proposition. All in all, we lost count of fish caught and just enjoyed another day in South Park on another jewel RMAC now has in their inventory. I highly recommend you give this place a day, just remember, be prepared to give the collie a belly rub and try not to catch every fish in the crick |

| The fishing was quite good. I was their with a first timer that was a fast learner, and he caught and released about 10 fish. He was using a Royal Humpy size 12, and the fish were eager to eat it in every spot that looked like it could hold a fish. I caught a lot of fish on a tan stimulator, and a Mambo Ant. The flows were right at the historical averages for that date, and the clarity was fair. It fished great overall! |

| The stream was high, fast, and slightly off-color. Used s8 black BHWB and s12 prince to catch a dozen or so browns in the 8"-14" range. Could only fish for two hours. It was a good day. |

| Well, two weeks ago I fished this property and there had been heavy rain the night before. The only difference this time is that the rainfall was even greater! The creek was once again high and discolored and the need for the hopper/dropper set-up was also there - so we did that. We both fished hoppers on top. One of us used a red San Juan worm for a dropper, and the other used a lime green BH caddis pupa. We caught fish steadily, and they were in some unusual spots due to high flows. The creek dropped a bit and cleared a bit and we went to dry flys only - a big tan humpy and a foam wing caddis - and we caught a lot of fish. The creek then once again rose and became more discolored by around 2:30pm, so we split. We started the day fishing by 8:15, so we had plenty of time on the water. This creek is a wonderful place to fish! Note: all sorts of biting insects are active right now, so bring insect spray/lotion whatever! |

| There is seemingly no shortage of water in this area. This little creek was full - as in recently out of its banks full. It rained heavily Friday night and the water was stained to about 2 feet of visibility. Nevertheless, after walking up to her and fighting-off the acute depression that set-in when I realized that nymphing was the way to go, I tied on a hopper/dropper set-up. I used a hopper, actually, and a fly that I purchased at Royal Gorge Angler. I will not say which one - sorry. I will say this however, if you are in Canon City, and you go to Bill's shop and he says that "Larry ties these and they are fish-catching sons-of....(you know the rest)", buy them. Buy lots of them. Use them often.....got it? That said, the fish ate the nymph steadily. By 10:00am there was a hatch going on and the fish REALLY came to life. There were PMDs, slate gray duns, caddis, small stones, (beetles - I will get to that shortly), and the odd green drake. I tied on a caddis and began to thump 'em. It was a blast! Beetles? I was looking down into a hole and a beetle was struggling to fly off of the surface when it got slurped by about a 9" brown. I have LOTS of beetles in my fly box, so I tied one onto my tippet and it got downright stupid after that. The harder I made it hit the surface when I casted, the faster the trout appeared to eat the little bugger. It was a hoot! Mother Nature did a number on us by 1:15 due to severe lightning. The trip was abbreviated, but we started fishing by 8:30am, so we certainly got our licks in! Finally, this is a great little stream. I called it my favorite property for years, but drought and some siltation changed her personality for a handful of years. The upper Tarryall is back! The fish are abundant, and while most are small to smallish, it is still a great time. There is every opportunity to be as technical as you want with casts, mends and drifts, and there are runs that will thrill the beginner. If you are willing to explore, you will be rewarded regardless of your skill level. And by the way, the views are as good as it gets. That view dropping off of Kenosha may be the nicest valley view in all of CO. |

| Fun dryfly fishing. Started too late ( 10 am ish) as it was very hot, but still had 5 or 6 brownies come to Papa before I stopped for lunch mid afternoon. Evening was better (lots of mosquitos, however), including a double hook up on the hopper/dropper. About 16 or so fish hooked, all landed (these are small guys) except two that got under the cutbanks. Fish the deep pools, and be sneaky when you do. Elk hairs, wulfs, pheasent tails, and hoppers all worked thru the day. Fun small stream fishing. |

| Water quite low.Very windy by 9am but overall a beautiful day. The fish were in the deeper holes. Caught about 10 browns 4-8 inches on small copper johns and hares ears. Had several more strikes. Not much in the way of hatches and way to windy to try dry flies. |

| What a great section of water. I have never seen a stream bend back on itself so much. Weather conditions were tough ... strong winds and cold. Still caught four browns all around 7 to 8 inches. Saw a few caddis and PMDs; otherwise no bug life. I would love to fish this water during a good hatch. You would only have to walk 15 feet downstream since it bends back and forth so much. |

| Great little stream, not windy at all early in the day. Only had a few hours to fish and found them very receptive to Adams in 14 or 16. Mostly small fish, 5" to 8", but saw a half dozen over 14, some approaching 16" in the deep holes. For those coming from Colorado Springs, this is close to 2 hours away, very close to Jefferson. |

| Great time catching lots of little browns. 10 inches wa a big one.Just about any dry fly worked. Elk Hair caddis was best for me. Water was low and clear, so you had to sneak up on them. Great day. |

| Fished this property with my two children ages 10 and 17. Water level is good and stream appears to be very healthy. We caught fish at every bend of the stream, and there are lots and lots of bends. A #16 dry anything seemed to do the trick. All of the fish were in the 8 to 10" range and were very eger to take a dry. We might of caught some larger fish using nymphs but the reward to my kids of the take on a dry more than overcame the size of the trout. Beautiful remote location, with lots of small coopertive fish. |

| The run off had the creek high, discolored with lots of debris. Caught 3 small browns earliy in the morning, then nothing until the evening. The shadows on the cut banks gave up 5 more browns. All flies and tricks were tried but a stimulator with a red copper john caught all 8 fish. I would wait until run off slows before making the trip. |

| Fished the property with my 3 sons. The water is low & clear. The fish are generally small and eager to take a fly. But, we had a ball catching small Browns on dries. About any dry fly brought up fish -- Royal Wulffs & Stimulators up to size 10 worked well. We probably averaged 15 fish each. A fair amount of 4" fish but had a few in the 13 - 14" range. Open casting & probably better suited for my 9 year old than 4 Mile Creek. Great fun. Give this small stream a try, you will have tons of fun. |

| Caught a lot of small browns on surface flies, and the group of three had a good day--I'd go back again. We left a little earlier than I would of liked due to lighting in the near distance and the oncoming afternoon storm. :) |

| Fished 8 til 2 and caught 34 fish between the 2 of us. There's a mess of fish in that little creek(oh no I'm starting to talk like Jimmy Houston). Bring the lightest weight rig you got cause these fish aren't rod benders. The most flex we had in our 4 and 5 weight equipment all day was during the cast. Oh yea there was that 9 incher that I foul hooked too. Still a lot of fun though, biggest fish was 12" averaged about 8 or 9 inches, all Browns. Hoppers with droppers was the rig of the day, If those little buggers could of got their mouths over those hoppers more often we would of caught a lot more. #14 Royal Wuff produced nice 11 inch Brown. #16 and 18 Prince, BHPT and Copper Johns all produced underneath. Property gets extra points for beauty and remote and quiet factors. |

| Had a great time. Caught around 20 fish between two of us. There is a nice little pool where you can sneak upon around 5-8 brown's at any given time. The water "in the side pool" is very clear and reminded me of Bone Fishing. Fished mainly with Cadis and had good luck |

| Two of us enjoyed a great day. Still some sections covered in ice. 30+ fish between two of us. Mostly caught using a large dry (Stimulator) as an indicator with a beadhead prince or flashback pheasant tail dropper. Few fish tried for the Stimulator through the course of the day. No size, mostly 10 - 12 inch, all browns. All caught in deep pools. But still required lots of patience as often it would take many runs through a very small pool before fish would take the dropper. |
