Description: The historic Tomahawk Ranch contains 4 miles of the 20-foot-wide La Prele Creek, which empties into the 800-acre La Prele Reservoir. Decades of tightly restricted angling make this area excellent for fishing. Most fish average 14 to 19 inches, but catches of trophy rainbows and browns up to 18 pounds have been reported in the reservoir.
Location: This ranch is located 15 miles southwest of Douglas, Wyoming and is about 3 ½ hours from Denver.
Capacity: Limited to 4 anglers on lake and 4 on stream.
